Write for us
Brilliant Vision House welcomes clear, original proposals that help general readers understand how images direct attention or communicate meaning. A good contribution starts with a specific visual question and gives readers a way to look more closely.
What we welcome
Pitch explanatory features, comparisons, visual histories, close readings or guides to looking at a particular kind of image. Suitable subjects include composition, colour, symbols and context. Choose a defined example or visual problem rather than promising a broad survey of everything about images.
What makes a strong pitch
Tell us the working title, the central question, the main points you would cover and why the subject suits Brilliant Vision House. Include a short note about your relevant experience, but do not present credentials as a substitute for a clear argument. Flag any image permissions or specialist context the proposal may need.
Sending a proposal
Send proposals through the Contact page and select the editorial question option. Unsolicited pitches should be your own work and should not depend on unsupported claims, confidential material or a promotional message. A pitch is not a promise of publication.
